JESUS: Who do you say He is? Part 1 “THE QUESTION THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING”
“THE QUESTION THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING”
(Inspired by the book JESUS: Who Do You Say He Is?)

Welcome to the very first part of WHO IS JESUS?
This is inspired by my book Jesus: Who Do You Say He Is?
Let’s start with one of the most important questions a human being can ask: Who is Jesus?
Not “Who do people say He is?” Not “Who does culture say He is?” Not “Who does your favorite influencer say He is?” But you—who do you say He is?
Story time.
A man in New York once walked into a high‑end art gallery. He stared at a bright, bold piece for almost an hour. Then he proudly said, “I think I understand what the artist was trying to say.”
The curator replied, “Sir… that’s the emergency exit sign.”
He misunderstood it because he assumed he already knew what it was.
So, who do you say Jesus is?
Most people think they know: A good teacher. A moral example. A revolutionary. A prophet. A political mascot. A cosmic therapist. A curse word. A myth for the ignorant and weak. But if you’re staring at the wrong thing, or only influenced by what strangers tell you, you’ll draw the wrong conclusion.
Who is Jesus?
This question shapes your worldview, your morality, your values, your purpose, your hope, your eternity. Everything hangs on your answer. But even if you answer it correctly, there’s still a second question:
Who do YOU say He is?
Not academically. Not theoretically. Not “My pastor says…” Not “My parents believe…” Not “I saw a documentary once…”
But you.
Over the next several posts (7 in all), we’re going to explore Jesus through several lenses:
Jesus the Person
Jesus our Savior
Jesus our Sanctifier
Jesus our Healer
Jesus our Coming King
Living Missionally
If the truth about Jesus confronted the life you are living, would you submit to it or reshape Him to protect the life you insist on living?
